All-rounder Dewmi Vihanga was the only Sri Lankan in the inaugural ICC Under 19 Women's T20 World Cup Team of the Tournament, named by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday.

Vihanga's stand-out performance with the ball was taking figures of 3 for 11 against the United States of America in Sri Lanka's first game of the tournament, while she also took 2/22 in a match versus South Africa.

She showed her all-round skill in that match, which Sri Lanka lost by one run, also scoring 37.

Her best contribution with the bat, however, was against Bangladesh when she scored a half-century.

Englishwoman Grace Scrivens captains the team, having made the highest score in the tournament, of 93, accumulating the second most runs.

The leading scorer, India's Shweta Sehrawat, is also in the team, along with two other compatriots in Shafali Verma and Parshavi Chopra.

Verma, who has already played 51 Women's T20Is and 21 Women's ODIs, finished with the third most runs, though some distance behind runaway leaders Sehrawat and Scrivens.

Chopra, the leg spinner, finished as the second highest wicket-taker behind Australia's 15-year-old fast bowler Maggie Clark.

Clark was the only Australian in the team, with South Africa's wicker-keeper Karabo Meso, Bangladesh's Shorna Akter and Kiwi Georgia Plimmer the only representatives from their country on the list.

Hannah Baker and Ellie Anderson join Scrivens as the other Englishwomen in the team of tournament, having taken their country into the final, where they were defeated by India Under 19.

Pakistan's Anosha Nasir was named as the 12th Player of the team, with 10 wickets to her name -- the fourth best bowler of the tournament.
