Parliament prorogued till February 8

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has prorogued Parliament till February 8, 2023, President’s office said.

A spokesman from the President’s office said this was a procedural move.

Parliament will therefore meet on February 8, 2023 where President Wickremesighe is expected to make a policy statement. (Yohan Perera)

It is a body comprising companies such as Amazon, Apple, Booking.com, Expedia Group, Google, GoTo, Grab, LINE, LinkedIn, Meta, Rakuten, X and Yahoo.

Hopefully there will be news on a snap poll /General or Presidential however , the sooner you go will serve better for any would be government. Might as well take your best shot at Independence.

Why do we need a parliament in our Buddha blessed paradise. The Sanga that already function as the power behind the throne can be formally established as the governing entity and Buddha will shower us with blessings
