The Parliament session was suspended a short while ago after joint opposition MPs protested over an issue of Samurdhi payment.

It is a body comprising companies such as Amazon, Apple, Booking.com, Expedia Group, Google, GoTo, Grab, LINE, LinkedIn, Meta, Rakuten, X and Yahoo.

Government should seriously look at the possibility of leasing the JO to some country. Its very unlikely that anyone would pay anything. However considering the time and money they will save, it is definitely worth.
