Sajith vows disciplinary actions against members attempting to divide SJB

Those party members who try to divide and destroy the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) will be brought before a disciplinary Committee, Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa said over the weekend.

"There should be discipline within the SJB which is the sole alternative to the present government,” Premadasa said in a special statement.

“A conspiracy is on to divide and destroy the SJB. There have been no discussions within the party to support President Ranil Wickremesinghe. We don't want to associate with their relative’s party and their relatives media,” he said. (Yohan Perera)

It is a body comprising companies such as Amazon, Apple, Booking.com, Expedia Group, Google, GoTo, Grab, LINE, LinkedIn, Meta, Rakuten, X and Yahoo.

With "threats" and disciplinary measures, no party can be held together that is divided and in danger of falling apart! Sajith Premadasa also knows this, whose leadership qualities, leadership behavior and leadership strategy have serious, irremediable deficiencies! No elections can be won on the basis of such prerequisites and a lack of uniformity in the content of the party! SJB needs a powerful, persuasive leader (like Sarath Fonseka) who will unite the party, know the members behind them, develop a good reality-based program and a smart government takeover strategy! This could start the post-era period of Ranil!

It may have helped if he himself was disciplined. If he stuck to the decisions made by the actual party and did not backflip after subsequent discussions with the inner family party, things may have been different. But that is the real you and your family. It's too late now. Your true colors have been on show for quite a while and sadly it seems as though the actual party has had enough of it.
