<p>The Education Ministry today announced that all government and government-assisted private schools will reopen for their second phase of the first school term on Monday (17).</p> <p>These schools were closed for vacation for the first phase of the first school term on April 4.</p> <p>Moreover, the ministry also draws the attention of authorities to the special announcement made earlier regarding the admission of students to the intermediate grades of schools.</p><center><a href="https://www.hi.lk/himag" target="_blank"><img src="https://bmkltsly13vb.compat.objectstorage.ap-singapore-1.oraclecloud.com/cdn.sg.dailymirror.lk/assets/uploads/advr_7fec3b236e.jpg" /></a></p></center> <p>Accordingly, the circular regarding the admission of students to intermediate grades will be issued on April 20.</p> <p>The admission of students to intermediate grades from Grades 2 to 4 and Grades 7 to 10 in national schools will be as per the relevant circulars.</p> <p>The ministry will not issue any letters in order to admit students for the intermediate grades in national schools until then.
