<p>Japan, India and France will announce the launch of the debt restructuring negotiation process on Sri Lanka today, in the margins of the Spring Meetings, the International Monetary Fund statement said.</p> <p><br /> The three creditor countries, which have been closely working towards a coordinated debt restructuring for Sri Lanka, are expected to announce the launch at a media briefing in Washington.</p> <p>President Ranil Wickremesinghe will take part in the press briefing virtually while Finance State Minister Shehan Semasinghe, who is attending Spring Meetings in Washington DC, will take part in person.</p><center><a href="https://www.hi.lk/himag" target="_blank"><img src="https://bmkltsly13vb.compat.objectstorage.ap-singapore-1.oraclecloud.com/cdn.sg.dailymirror.lk/assets/uploads/advr_7fec3b236e.jpg" /></a></p></center> <p><br /> Japanese Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki, Japanese Vice Minister Finance Masato Kanda, Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and France&rsquo;s Treasury Director General Emmanuel Moulin will be representing the three creditor nations.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></p>
