<p><strong>By Kelum Bandara&nbsp; &nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The Department of Animal Production and Health cleared the stock of imported eggs since the tests conducted for bird flu and Newcastle flu proved negative, an official said.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>The government, through the State Trading Company, took steps to import eggs from Tamil Nadu, India following a shortage in the local market.
