I contacted an organization called Women In Need in Sri Lanka about a 20 year old girl forcefully married to a 19 year old. From day one this girl was beaten and sexually assaulted by her husband, father in law and brother in law. I gave this organization the address of the perpetrators but nothing was done. The girl disappeared without a trace about three years ago. What's the use of articles like this when no action is forthcoming?
