An eye-opener this interview.Tea is our biggest export crop.If the margins are so low it won't be long before the estates start losing money.Will it then be sold off at fire-sale prices.The central hills are also the source of our river systems and our precious water supply without which the country would not survive.Should be declared a strategic asset and the best brains employed to revive and protect it and the industry.
